Meals on Wheels Annual Ramp Install

RLH Construction encourages all employees to give back to the community through our “Hands On” program. The “Hands On” program gives each employee the opportunity to donate a minimum of one full day of their time to a local charity annually.

RLH teamed up with MEALS ON WHEELS on February 7th to build The Mathews Family an ADA ramp at their residence. Thank you to Richard Haines, Jim Kovach, Corey Collins, Ray Winch (Tavistock), Warren Clatterbuck, and Mark Keeter who made a difference in the community! Continue reading

Hyundai of Central Florida Groundbreaking

ground breaking ceremonyRLH was awarded as the General Contractor for the Hyundai of Central Florida project that will be located off East Hwy 50 in Clermont, which consists of new construction of a 38,865 SF automotive dealership. The groundbreaking for the project was held onsite on November 22nd, 2016. The attendees for the groundbreaking, from left to right, included Richard Haines (RLH Owner), Phil Whitehill (RLH Director of Business & Project Development), Bruce Hansley (RLH Superintendent), Steven Francis (COO of Mullinax Automotive Group), Jerry Mullinax (Owner of Mullinax Automotive Group), Tracy Taylor (Dealer Rep for Mullinax Automotive Group), Jean Abi-Aoun (FEG-Civil Engineer) and Mike Godek (RLH Project Manager).

Park Hill Townhomes Groundbreaking

ground breaking ceremonyOn Monday July 11th, RLH had a groundbreaking for the newly awarded project, Park Hill Townhomes in Winter Park, FL. This project consists of 10 exclusive and luxury townhomes that will be located on the southwest corner of North Park Avenue and Whipple Avenue, across from the Winter Park Country Club, with 7 of the units directly on Park Avenue. Winter Park Magazine has dubbed this as ‘A Legacy Project on Park Avenue’, and we here at RLH are more than excited to be named the General Contractor for this project. Continue reading

Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector Qualification Certification

Congratulations to Doug Wilson (Superintendent), John Colley (Superintendent), Bruce Hansley (Superintendent), Terry Alexander (Project Manager) and Ray Packey (Superintendent), as pictured from left to right, for completing and receiving their Florida Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater, Erosion & Sedimentation Control Inspector Qualification Certification on May 27th. This certification course was held for 2 days at the Nova Southeastern Campus in Orlando, and was sponsored by the City of Orlando and the FDEP. Thank you for representing RLH Construction.

“Our community … a 15-building, 300-unit condominium … recently completed a major refurbishment project with RLH Construction LLC. The exteriors of the 15 buildings as well as all individual units were involved which translates to 300 owners being inconvenienced. Overall, it was an amazingly smooth experience for our Board of Directors and we cannot say enough positive things about the employees of the remarkable construction firm we chose.
